The RX 9070 XT line is to be priced at 4999 RMB and that of the RX 9070 cards is to be priced at 4499 RMB. These are the officially announced prices for the Radeon RX 9070 series in China.
This was announced at a distributor and media event, with several AMD executives including Jack Huynh, Sr. VP and GM of Computing and Graphics at AMD, presenting the products and their prices. Contrastingly, the RTX 5070 Ti officially retails at an MSRP of 6299 RMB, 26% more expensive than the Radeon RX 9070 XT.
This implies that the anticipated price for the Radeon GPU would be in the range between $545 and $599, with the latter being a direct conversion minus VAT. Therefore, expected prices for RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 could be around $599 and $549, respectively.
AMD had brought along two reference cards, with the dual-fan model normatively counted for the non-XT version. However, as it turns out, these cards are not going to be sold directly.
Key players present include Jack Yu from ASUS China, alongside spokespersons from Sapphire, Gigabyte, Yeston, PowerColor, ASrock, XFX, and Vastarmor.
Interestingly, AMD hasn’t said anything about this event, which was held in China press announcing a price market just 12 hours before the world price reveal, but surprisingly. These reports say that Radeon RX 9070 XT as well as the non-XT are going to come to the market on March 6.
