In a private post on social media, Blass unveiled an image of what looks like source code referencing an iPhone SE (4th Gen), which raises questions about the alternative name ‘iPhone 16E’ that has been circulating.
However, it is important to note that the name in the source code might just be a placeholder and the final designation is still uncertain. In addition to this, Blass shared an image of the upcoming iPhone SE. The image showcases a Dynamic Island feature instead of the traditional notch.
Right now, the Dynamic Island is available on certain devices including the entire iPhone 16 lineup, iPhone 14 Pro models, and all four iPhone 15 models.
No clear report has arrived regarding the iPhone SE sporting a Dynamic Island or going with the notch. Hence, fans have no other option but to wait for further clarity. No additional specifics about the new iPhone SE were disclosed in this leak.
The upcoming iPhone SE is expected to mirror the design of the standard iPhone 15 or iPhone 16. The current iPhone SE resembles the iPhone 8, featuring outdated elements such as a Touch ID button, bulky bezels, and a Lightning Port. The starting price of the same is $429 but a slight increase seems likely for the upcoming model.
