Apple recently released the new second beta of the forthcoming macOS Sequoia 15.4 update for developers to test. The beta comes hardly two weeks after the introduction of the first.
For registered developers, they can access the macOS Sequoia beta through the Software Update option in the System Settings application. An Apple ID related to an Apple Developer account is required to participate.
The macOS Sequoia 15.4 update now makes ‘Mail Categorization’ available on Mac, coordinating the Mail app for various classifications namely, transactions, updates, promotions, and primary, making the critical messages more accessible to the users.
A new stand-alone Food section has been unveiled for the subscribers of Apple News+, and the section is to feature recipes, articles on restaurants, and many more. Other benefits of the update include a new Sketch style in Image Playground, the creation of Memory Movies within the Photos app, and an expansion of Apple Intelligence to accommodate more languages.
MacOS Sequoia 15.4 is scheduled to be finally released by Apple in the early days of April. As a standard precaution, both MacTrast and Apple advise users against installing beta versions on their primary Mac devices. It is suggested to use a separate device designated for testing purposes.
The advent of the kind of proximity pairing feature is featured in making the setup of Macs faster. By following the on-screen instructions in les MacOS 15.4, an iPhone could be brought near the Mac and all settings will automatically transfer over.
The first beta of macOS 15.4 came with several enhancements regarding Apple Intelligence, such as the Image Playground now enables creating images in Sketch style and Apple Intelligence now supports a larger number of languages.
With the beta 2 availability, it is expected that there will be some more modifications.
